Our Story

Asking Going was created by a lifetime traveler, Lindsey Lerner, and her sociologist friend, Siobhan Pokorney, and designed by Chandlyr Jackson so they could skip the awkward small talk and get straight to the deep stuff when meeting people on the road. As it turned out, they found out that the questions created meaningful conversations with the people they already knew as well.

The questions in the Asking Going deck are designed to foster connection and community for a deeper travel experience, and for getting to know new friends with shared interests, even if your current travel plans only involve going from your kitchen to the sofa.
